The starts of Badoo – Andrey Andreey is a Russian businessman that, along with a group of technologists and programmers, decided to start-up a new social network. This social network is Badoo, and it was launched from France using the brainstorm technique back in 2006.
The starts of Badoo
At the start of Badoo, its funder decided that would be better to give it a name that could be recognized all over the world regardless of the language. This had the aim to expand the social network and it gave positive results. A year after its launch, Google announced that “Badoo” was the word with a higher growth since it was first launched on the Internet.
The initial Badoo project had in mind the chance of meeting people across the globe by sharing pictures, messages and videos. But unlike a lot of social networks, Badoo is now used to meet new partners, and it is widely known as “the social network for finding sex”. This company generates its money income thanks to a function called Rise Up, which basically keeps the user among the first search results so more people can add him/her to their profile. This option has a cost of $1 or 1€, although it is free of charge in some countries.
Each user has its own start page in Badoo, where he/she can see new pictures added by his/her contacts and any notifications and news. On this page is where users can accept or reject any friend request too.
This social network has plenty of tools so users can be known within the community. One is the “most voted” section, where people can vote your profile so you will come up within the first search results. Another one is the option of sending a picture to all your contacts with a message (this option can be activated by using your mobile phone).
Badoo is the best social network for those who are searching for new friends and partners on the Internet. It has over 14 million users from all over the world, so there is plenty of new people to meet!.
