Create Account iTunes – iTunes is a great place to find the hottest new music, applications, movies, e-books and more, whether you have an Apple device like an iPhone or just a PC. In order to download stuff from iTunes, you have to set up an account first. This tutorial will show you how to create your new iTunes account step by step.
Create Account iTunes
Apple has a unified login known as an Apple ID. If you use other Apple services like iCloud, you already have an Apple ID and you can use it to log into iTunes too. If you’re not sure if you have an Apple ID or not, you can check by going to the Apple ID homepage at https://appleid.apple.com/ and clicking on “Forgot Apple ID or password?”
If you’re sure you don’t have an Apple ID, you’ll need to create on in order to sign into iTunes. To do this, download iTunes to your device if you haven’t already. You can download the latest version of iTunes at https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Create an Apple ID for iTunes
Open iTunes and click on the Store menu. Then select “Create Apple ID” and click “Continue”. Read and agree to all the legal rigmarole, and fill in the form with your information to create your iTunes account. The email address you provide here will become your Apple ID, so choose wisely if you have more than one.
You might receive an error prompt that your email address is already associated with an Apple ID. If that’s the case, go back to the previous step to recover your Apple ID and password. In general, you don’t want to have more than one Apple ID because it’s hard to remember which music, downloads, etc. is attached to each ID.
When you’ve filled out the form, click “Continue”. Now you’ll have to enter payment information in case you ever want to buy something from iTunes. You can remove the payment info later by managing your Apple ID.
Finally, you’ll have to verify your email address. You should receive an email from Apple at the address you provided (check your Spam folder if you don’t see it in your Inbox). Open the email and follow the steps to verify.
After that’s finished, your iTunes account is all set up! You have a shiny new Apple ID that you can use to sign into iTunes, iCloud and other Apple services requiring login information.
